Details

Renn carries a tower shield forged from layered starship armour and engraved with the names of everyone it has protected. A veteran of the Ash Meridian campaigns, he now trains rescue cohorts to advance into collapsing zones while others retreat. Gruff, practical, and unexpectedly gentle with frightened civilians, Renn measures victory by lives brought home rather than enemies defeated. Several names have recently appeared on his shield before he has met their owners.
